Job Overview
- Oversees and maintains nursing services provided to tenants.
- Develops, reviews, implements, and updates policies and procedures to enhance resident care and safety.
- Monitor medication management processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
- Act as a liaison between residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to address concerns and facilitate communication.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Attends employee and tenant meetings.
- Oversees the quality assurance program at the facility.
- Assists with the on-call rotation.
- Responds to tenant emergencies or medical concerns.
- Assists with the admission and discharge process for tenants.
- Assists housing manager with monthly billing.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of staff.
- Provides training and competencies to employees.
- Assists the housing manager with scheduling.
- Knowledge of assisted living rules and federal, state, and local regulations
- Perform other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license it the state of Minnesota.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or similar healthcare settings preferred.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Leadership experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to complete and pass a background check (e-mail required)
