We are offering an excellent opportunity to assist a fun and very active young woman who has autism. She has a part-time job during the week, works out at a fitness center 6 days per week, she loves to read and owns a home on the near west side of Madison. Because she has an interest in health, we ask that candidates also have personal experience with a healthy lifestyle and wellness.

This position includes:

· Applying strategies to help her build upon current social and communication skills.

· Helping her to access community activities such as visiting the library and shopping.

· Helping to prepare healthy meals and complete household chores.

· Some minor assistance with personal cares, so only female applicants will be considered.

· Relationship is important, so we hope you will enjoy the position and stay at least 1 year.

· We provide initial training and all of the support you wish, with a focus on collaboration.

Schedule and pay-rate: Every other weekend, Saturday 9-5:00 and Sunday 9-5:00 (16 hours). More hours may be available if you desire. The wage is $20 per hour and mileage is reimbursed.

Driving is part of this position, so you must have a reliable car, car insurance and a clear driving record. A background check will be conducted. At least some COVID Vaccinations required.
