LUSHA Event and Design Services is Hiring a Lighting Technician Near Denver, CO

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Lighting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining lighting equipment for weddings and various events. You will work closely with event planners, designers, and clients to ensure that every event is beautifully illuminated and runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Planning:
  • Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their vision and lighting needs.
  • Create and present lighting designs and concepts tailored to each event.
  • Setup and Installation:
  • Install and configure lighting equipment, including LED fixtures, spotlights, dimmers, and control systems.
  • Ensure all lighting setups comply with safety standards and venue regulations.
  • Operation:
  • Operate lighting equipment during events, ensuring seamless transitions and effects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during events.
  • Maintenance:
  • Regularly inspect and maintain lighting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform necessary repairs and replacements.
  • Post-Event:
  • Dismantle and pack up equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future setups.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lighting Technician, preferably in the wedding and events industry.
  • Proficient in using lighting control software and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of lighting design principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
