Position Summary 

The role of the Senior Property Accountant is to apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of three years related experience
• Previous experience in the property management/multifamily industry preferred. 
• Must have experience in multifamily/property management full cycle accounting. 
• RealPage/Yardi experience is a plus. 

Essential Job Functions: 

• Full cycle accounting for 8-10 properties (balance sheet reconciliation, fixed asset reclasses, recurring monthly entries, etc.) 
• Reconciling, Managing and Forecasting property cash.
• Ensure timely payment of debt service and real estate taxes. 
• Financial analysis to prepare/complete for monthly, quarterly, and annual operating statements. 
• Work with onsite team to resolve reconciling items each month.
• Ad hoc projects
