- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans, in electronic health record systems.
- Assist with medical procedures and surgeries in an ambulatory surgery center setting.
- Conduct health coaching sessions to educate patients on managing chronic conditions and promoting overall wellness.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment.
- Operate medical imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes, such as sonography or neonatal ventilators.
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes to ensure accurate reimbursement.
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license and certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, and best practices.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
