Lumina Solar seeks a Solar Service Technician to join our team in Pennsylvania. As a valued member of the Energy Services team, you will report to our Energy Services Manager.

We are searching for individuals with experience in electrical work, installation, and servicing of solar PV systems. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about applying these skills to deliver dependable solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

In this role, you'll get to :

Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues on pre-existing installs for Residential and / or Commercial customers

Work on Removal and Reinstalls of pre-existing installations

Provide assistance with roofing tasks, including addressing roof leaks, conducting repairs, and performing maintenance

Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices

Ensure electrical systems meet company standard job specifications, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and other relevant local codes

Keep service van stocked and serviced properly

Coordinate and communicate with electrical inspectors on projects

Provide regular updates of job status, complete necessary paperwork and photos

Provide customer support for troubleshooting system issues, and correspond professionally with customers

Assist in job safety and overall crew support including staging materials, general site work support, as well as site preparation and clean up

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both yourself and your team

On your first day, we'll expect you to have :

Over 2 years of Residential and / or Commercial Solar installation experience

Experience with roofing repairs and maintenance is a huge plus

Knowledge of electrical systems, AC & DC including troubleshooting, wiring and assembly

National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge

Ability to troubleshoot electrical installation projects

Must be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly

Must have the ability to climb ladders, work on sloped roofs in all weather conditions, and stand for extended periods of time

Work independently in a fast-paced environment

Must be proficient in the use of smart phones / tablets

Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Exemplary customer service skills

OSHA Certification (Preferred)

High school diploma or equivalent

Must possess a valid driver's license - CDL preferred

Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
