Lumina Solar is looking for a Lead Roofing Technician to join our team in Pennsylvania. You’ll be a valued member of the Energy Services team, and report to the Energy Services Operations Manager.

The Roofing Technician will play a multifaceted role in our roofing operations, encompassing not only roof leak investigations but also conducting thorough roof surveys, performing maintenance tasks, and executing repairs with precision and expertise. This versatile individual will be instrumental in upholding the integrity and longevity of our clients' roofing systems.

This role operates in PA and NJ and will require regular travel to our Palm, PA warehouse to pick up company vehicle and supplies (Travel radius is within 2 hours of the Palm, PA warehouse)

In this role, you'll get to:

• Conduct comprehensive roof surveys to assess the condition, identify leaks or any issues, and determine the necessary repairs or replacements required
• Conduct thorough investigations to identify source of roof leaks
• Complete repairs, ensuring they are completed to the highest quality standards
• Implement control standards and processes to ensure all roofing services meet company and industry standards
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and standards
• Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing any concerns, and fostering long-term relationships
• Train junior technicians
• Gain knowledge and experience in Solar installation and maintenance

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of roof repair experience (Roof Surveys, Leak Investigation, Roof Maintenance/Repair)
• Experience leading a crew
• Solar experience is a huge plus
• Experience and comfort working in confined spaces and attics
• In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols within the roofing industry
• Must have valid Driver’s license and ability to drive for lengths of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
