**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Health Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and working with individuals with addiction and substance abuse. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
**Duties:**
The BHT assists in the admission process, answers patient questions and assists patient in adjusting to the program routine. The BHT is the liaison between the patient and the nursing/clinical staff to report any changes in the patient’s physical or mental condition. The BHT is responsible for supervising patients during the program with emphasis on patient safety and wellbeing. .
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
1. EDUCATION: Graduation from High School or GED.
Must have working knowledge of 12 Step community based recovery.
2. EXPERIENCE: None
3. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: CDCA certificate and CPR preferred.
4. KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING G e n e r a l k n o w l e d g e o f a d d i c t i o n s a n d m e n t a l health complications.
