Battery Engineer - Long Duration Storage/Battery Testing & Development - Oregon

I'm looking for a talented Battery Engineer to join my client who's a global leader in innovation and delivery of their proprietary batteries.

This person will be a crucial addition to my client's Engineering team and will be responsible for developing new applications for their batteries as well as the performance and coordination of the testing of my client's batteries.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of industry experience, preferably with batteries or energy storage systems
• Strong understanding of battery material characterization techniques
• Proven ability & strong understanding of all types of battery testing (electrochemical, abuse, thermal, etc.)
• Well-versed in battery applications - Particularly in long-duration energy storage (LDES)

• Plus: experience with Alkaline-based battery technologies/chemistries
