Lumenance is Hiring an Automotive Structure CAE Near Marysville, OH
Use your CAE skills to help develop Honda's next generation vehicles. In this contract position, you'll simulate automotive structures to ensure they meet noise, vibration and body rigidity requirements.
This position is in Ohio, USA. Lumenance will help procure the necessary U.S. work visas for qualified candidates from Mexico and Canada.
Job Responsibilities:
Build CAE models for body structure simulation (Noise, vibration and body rigidity)
Gathering data from multiple sources, calibrate the models, and initiate correlation efforts as needed.
Depending on experience, advance correlation work may be available.
Interact with designers and suppliers as needed to gather data.
Use technical expertise to generate creative and innovative solutions to ensure new vehicles will meet industry standards.
Work with R&D team to address findings in analysis (e.g. redesign components)
Presentation of concepts to other engineers, managers, and executives as needed or required.
Requirements
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
ANSA, Meta Post, Hyper-works or similar experience
Experienced in analytical codes i.e. Nastran and Optistruct
Experience in optimization / morphing tools (ANSA, Optistruct, Nastran)
Able to debug modeling and analysis output
Able to interpret results from simulation results
Able to write analysis summary and report to stakeholders
