About The Role

The Finance Business Partner provides insightful reporting of business performance and play a key role in aligning business strategy and financial objectives. The Finance Business Partner has ownership of business case development and facilitate robust business decision making processes to ensure optimal allocation of resources and return on capital.

A day in the life:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and translate financial data into actionable insights
• Prepare and present financial reports to Leadership, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement
• Preparation of Monthly Business Review for all business units including P&Ls, headcount reporting and capex across the business.
• Monthly Cashflow & Net working capital reporting
• Preparation of Board Reporting and Operational Leverage Review including analysis and financial commentary
• Budgeting and Forecasting – annual budget, half year reforecast, quarterly rolling 12-month forecasts, run-rate analysis
• Mentoring the finance function of the business and enable personal / professional growth.
• Work as a trusted advisor, offering financial expertise and guidance on business decisions.
• Monitor financial performance against Company wide Key results.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and make recommendations for corrective action.
• Continuously review and improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement best practices and tools to streamline financial reporting and analysis.

• At least 5 years experience working in a similar role partnering with multiple stakeholders across the business to continuously support decision making
• CA/ CPA qualification is mandatory
• Strong financial modelling skills with ability to leverage technology to improve robustness of financial models and improve user experience
• Strong accounting and commercial business skills with thorough understanding of the annual planning and re-forecasting cycle
• Experience using Salesforce, Xero to support the finance function.
• You have experience building budgets and rebuilding existing financial models
