Summary
Instruct preschool-aged children and toddlers in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
Duties

Requirements
  • Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and some completed formal education in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with young children
  • Should have a solid understanding of child development principles and milestones for children
  • Effective communication skills. You should be able to communicate clearly, listen attentively, and express ideas in a child-friendly manner. Additionally, having strong interpersonal skills enables you to build positive relationships with children and create a nurturing classroom environment.
  • Be creative and resourceful in planning engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play. Developing lesson plans, creating educational materials, and utilizing different teaching strategies to stimulate children's curiosity and exploration.
  • Be able to establish rules and routines, implementing behavior management techniques, and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
  • should be familiar with health and safety guidelines specific to early childhood settings.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them learn and grow is essential for becoming a successful preschool teacher. Demonstrating enthusiasm, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being and development of each child can make a significant difference in their early educational experience.
