Service Advisor - Main Shop

We are looking for an enthusiastic, community-oriented Service Advisor to join our growing dealership's service team.Service Advisors assist in delivering remarkable experiences to our customers and are responsible to provide intake, consultation and advice regarding service and maintenance to our customers. They offer logical diagnostic services or repairs in response to the customer's concerns. Provide accurate estimates for all the services or repairs recommended.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:

• Responding to incoming calls
• Greeting and assisting customers, and treating all clientele with courtesy and respect.
• Logging customer details and comments in our system.
• Asking questions to assist in diagnostics of vehicle issues.
• Tracking progress of each vehicle service in the company's systems.
• Adhering to all company and manufacturer policies and procedures.
• Answering customers' questions regarding vehicle repairs and assessed costs.
• Accepting payments from customer upon completion of services.
• Ensuring potential customers are aware of any promotions.
• Efficiently schedule appointments for Service Technicians.
• Communicate customers' needs to Service Technicians.
• Assisting with various other tasks at the dealership.
• Maintain certification and training for all manufacturers.

Service Advisor Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong record-keeping skills.
• Highly organized, with an ability to learn quickly.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google software and the Internet.
• Professional and personable demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Salary: $3500-$4500 starting, per month (commission-based position)

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Day shift (Weekend availability)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
