The Global Brand Creative Operations team is a partner to the Brand Creative team and is tasked with enabling best-in-class brand storytelling and creative experiences.
This team owns operationalizing the creative process to deliver creative campaigns and initiatives.
This role is responsible for Planning & Resourcing all work on behalf of the Global Brand Creative Organization.
a day in the life: what you'll do
The Manager, Creative Operations, Planning is responsible for all operational plans related to creative resourcing for internal and external creatives and agency partners. They partner with multiple areas of the business to understand all asks and ensure appropriate teams are cast and assigned. They will implement processes for the team, supporting a culture of excellence and the values of the creative team.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Own project intake and studio planning & resourcing. Specifically responsible for delivering scenarios against the Brand Marketing calendars for how the creative organization can deliver the work. Develops all cost estimates, manages freelance recruitment and contracts & owns agency sourcing, contract negotiations and partner on-boarding.
  • Own and lead the Creative Operating Model for the Planning team; gather feedback and continually optimize.
  • Act as the liaison and key contact for cross functional partners (Brand Management, Brand Operations, Digital, Product, Community, Social, Styling, Casting)
  • Support definition of Global resourcing standards, tools and reporting frameworks. Responsible for resourcing inputs into project management software. This role owns related efficiency models, resourcing escalations, risk management and reporting/hours tracking.
  • Support development of a robust & aligned on Global agency & freelance roster across art direction, design, copy editorial, digital, and motion editing, in addition to styling and casting and creative operations.
  • Oversee Global creative resources to ensure right creative talent is in place to execute against business initiatives (both internal & agency partners) - incl. monitor/adjust due to scope and timing shifts.
  • Owns creative capacity mapping and escalates risks to Creative Operations Director
  • Agency and freelance on-boarding, process and co-owners of creative agency relationships and mgmt. (in partnership with Studio teams)
  • Manage freelance business on behalf of Brand Creative Studio (source, manage freelance, secure and manage contracts and payments, tech set up). Must develop and scale talent list, agency and creative partner pipelines and expand the diversity of our creative teams.
  • Support development of Annual Operating Plan against marketing calendar and Brand Creative priorities
  • Own day to day budget management including tracking within FP&A systems/Coupa and freelancers.
Qualifications
  • 8 years of direct experience in creative teams for large retail e-commerce or creative agency/production experience specific to the apparel/footwear industry
  • Management experience of teams with 2 people
  • Experience working with external creative and production partners
  • Positive approach to problem solving through analytical thinking and operational efficacy
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, with project changes, and reliably meet deadlines
  • A genuine passion for brand creative and creative operations; track record instilling operational excellence for a creative team
  • Must be a self-starter, critical thinker, team player, thrives working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, organized, detail oriented, collaborative, and flexible
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from $103,500 - 135,900 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
