Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LVN)

SITE OF SERVICE:

• Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX

POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• Education:Possess a diploma as a graduate from a nationally accredited or state approved vocational nursing program of at least nine months in duration.
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) hands on certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience:Possess a minimum of one 1 year of experience within the last two years working as a full-time LVN.
• Licensure: Possess a current and unrestricted license to practice as a LVN in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Island.
• U.S. Citizenship: Shall be a U.S. citizen
• English Language Requirement: Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
• Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.

HOURS:

• Shifts will be Monday through Friday.
• Shifts will normally be 8-hours between the hours of 6:00am and 8:00pm with a 30 or 60-minute break.
• Shifts will be set by the scheduling officer as soon as possible.
