Position Summary

The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining a healthy inventory balance through comprehensive study, purchasing, negotiation, and returns. This roll requires great attention to detail. This position is an in-person office position and is full time. Travel will be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Run reports on inventory
• Study reports to determine the inventory needs
• Create reports of completed research
• Price comparisons
• Submit orders
• Quality control incoming finished inventory
• Communication with vendors
• Create and maintain relationships with vendors
• Stay up to date on trends/ available inventory
• Find resolutions to quality/ timeline/ other hurdles/ price discrepancies
• Positive communication/ conflict resolution and problem solving
• Maintain highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Exercise administrative judgment; assume responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results impacting staff, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Two years or more experience in jewelry industry
• Proven experience in inventory control and demand planning
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the owners and the company to outside parties
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability or organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data mining and analytics
• Familiarity with retail management practices and inventory systems
• Ability to analyze pricing strategies and make informed buying decisions
• Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
