Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team and lead our day-to-day operations. The COO will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring the efficient execution of our business strategies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in achieving our company's goals and objectives by fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies and plans that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and customer service, to ensure efficient and effective execution.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives to streamline operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and KPIs, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion, including new markets, products, and services, and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to capitalize on those opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to drive collaboration and achieve mutual goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence and delivering results.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics processes, with experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to change and lead through ambiguity.
