Lucy's in the Square is a locally owned restaurant in the heart of downtown. We have a great clientele with a lot of regulars. We serve flatbreads, tacos, salads and a few other things in between, no pesky fryer to clean. We are open Tuesday - Sunday from 11am - 9pm, so Mondays are always off and the nights are never late.

**Job Overview:**

Join our team as a Kitchen Team Member and be a part of a dynamic culinary environment. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, customer service, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist in food preparation tasks under the guidance of the kitchen staff

- Support the kitchen staff during peak hours

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

- Handle food with care to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met

**Skills:**

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the kitchen team

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred, not required

- Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques

- Customer service-oriented mindset to ensure customer satisfaction

- Ability to assist with cooking tasks under the guidance of senior kitchen staff

- Interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills
