Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Kennel Assistant. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our furry friends. This position requires a strong love for animals and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercise
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
- Administer medication as directed by manager
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the managers
- Assist with handling animals during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment

Requirements:
- Previous or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
