Driver - CDL B
Reports to: Material Supply Manager or General Contracting Manager
Full Time
Hourly, Non-exempt
Salary Range: $18 - $24/hour
Purpose
Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity under 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). May require the operation of large equipment including dump beds, trailers, and other vehicles that do not exceed GVWR of 10,000 pounds. May also include moving heavy equipment, operating heavy equipment that requires straps/tie downs, loading/unloading heavy equipment that requires straps and chains, and any other equipment operating/transportation needs as determined by the Material Supply Manager or General Contracting Manager.
Education and Experience
Postsecondary non-degree award
2 years of continuous driving experience (Preferred)
General Qualifications
Required:
Driving:
Must have a valid CDL-B license
Must be between 21-75 years of age (Over 70 requires an acceptable annual letter of health from a registered doctor or their representative).
Must download DVIR application on smartphone and complete daily electronic DVIR.
May not have no more than five (5) Minor Violations, as defined below, in the past thirty-six (36) months.
May not have no more than one (1) at fault accident In the past thirty-six (36) months.
Required to obtain and carry a current medical certificate.
2 years of continuous driving experience (Prefered)

Using a cell phone device to clock in and out for shifts and lunches.

Working Conditions
This position could require evenings, nights, and some weekends. This position will be performed mainly outdoors and sometimes in inclement weather. Will require meeting safety standards, laws, and regulations.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand and kneel for long periods and be physically active.
