Role/Title: - Data Exchange Business Analyst
Hybrid, 3 days onsite, Indianapolis, Indiana
Agency Interview Type: Webcam only
Candidate must currently be local to Indianapolis. Please provide the address the candidate resides.
Selected resource will be required to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite per week. Please confirm the resource understands the work schedule.
Manager will perform two levels of interviews for this position with initial Teams interview and final interview required in-person. Please confirm the resource understands the interview schedule.
General Description
Resource will perform BA activities for SDLC in IOT Data Exchange programs and projects.
Job Description
Primary Objectives for DX BA Role
Lead standard BA activities for SDLC in IOT Data Exchange programs and projects.
Support new DX PM on project management processes (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps methodologies).
Continue stakeholder communication/reporting from DX team.
Lead DX billing and financial analysis processes.
General IOT DX BA Activities
Lead and manage DX billing/chargeback processes for IOT Data Exchange tools.
Support DX budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and technology pricing.
Help develop and implement strategic initiatives for improved DX efficiency and productivity.
Identify substandard processes through data evaluation and lead process improvement efforts.
Perform, evaluate, and communicate quality assurance at every project phase.
Partner with stakeholders across IOT teams and agencies to promote collaborative communication and activities.
Specific IOT DX BA SDLC Activities
Discovery: Draft personas, user stories, and BRDs for stakeholder review/sign-off.
Discovery: Define, draft and lead requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.
Design: Collaborate with technical experts and business users to determine design details.
Development: Translate/clarify requirements between technical and business stakeholders.
Testing: Provide user acceptance criteria and work with developers and testers to ensure criteria are met.
Production Deployment: Present project deliverables to stakeholders to confirm acceptance and capture fixes/updates needed for future versions of solution.
Closing: Engages stakeholders on closure activities (confirm project deliverables, sign-off, etc.).
General PM support:
Support project planning processes with transparent communication to relevant teams.
Support DevOps backlog and work item grooming and management.
Support IOT Data Exchange program KPI development, management, and reporting.
Assist socializing and ensuring stakeholders use standard Center for Excellence processes.
Provide regular project status update reports to IOT leadership/project stakeholders.
Creates project documentation and user-training manuals.
Analyzes and reports project budgets/financing/chargebacks, etc.
Skills Matrix
Minimum of two years professional experience in a Business Analyst role Required 2 Years
Experience with software development life cycle, spanning the lifecycle from project initiation to development, testing, and deployment Required 2 Years
Understand the Agile development processes and be familiar with requirements gathering techniques Required 2 Years
Able to collect data, analyze it, and develop sound reporting to track, recommend and forecast enhancements to systems and processes Required 2 Years
Analyze business and user needs, document requirements and devise and facilitate the delivery of new technical business system solutions to customers Required 2 Years
Strong project management skills and ability to plan work and meet projects deadlines Required
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and capacity to work in a team environment Required
Ability to establishes and maintain strategic partnerships with assigned customers to help them meet their business and technical need Required
Demonstrated capacity to analyze, understand, and capture business data and act on findings Required
Ability to work with minimal supervision and build credibility with business and IT leaders and varying levels of the organization Required
Ability to accurately and concisely present proposals and solutions to a wide audience Required
Proficient in the use of MS Office suite of products (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Word) Required
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, information management, business, or related technical fields Required
Experience using Business Intelligence and DevOps software (ex., PowerBI, Tableau, Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, etc.) Highly desired
