What to Expect

The individual in this role will deliver support for Lucid’s Corporate Logistics team. Focus will include freight invoice validation, supporting payment approval, cost reporting, logistics spend systems improvements, finding ways to automate and improve current processes, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive continuous improvements towards Lucid’s Supply Chain, through innovative solutions and insightful detailed analysis and reporting analytics. This individual will have experience working with large data sets.

You Will: 

• Validate logistics vendors’ invoices and collaborate with accounts payable to ensure successful payment of invoices before due date
• Accrue for unbilled invoices at the end of the month
• Develop and maintain key metrics and executive dashboard on freight invoice payment, logistics cost performance, and cost improvement roadmap actions
• Deliver in-depth analysis of logistics network to data-mine opportunities for cost improvement actions and drive data driven decision-making
• Support the Finance and Accounting teams with logistics information for the monthly and quarterly close processes
• Identify & execute opportunities to increase bandwidth through automation and streamlining of business processes

You Bring: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, analytics, accounting or supply chain or the equivalent experience 
• 2 years’ experience in analytics, financial, accounting or a supply chain role with projects is a plus
• Understanding of financial and accounting concepts and procedures within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with SAP TMS a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Access, SQL, Tableau and other BI tools
• Knowledge of VBA, R, or Python preferred
• Exceptional analytical skills with regards to logistics analysis, data manipulation, and the ability to create information from data
