Lucid Motors is Hiring a Director, Supply Chain Digital Operations Near Newark, CA

We are currently seeking Director, Supply Chain Digital Operations. The Director, Supply Chain Digital is a strategic leadership role responsible for leveraging digital technologies to optimize supply chain operations. This position requires a deep understanding of data analytics and digital transformation within the context of Supply Chain management. The Director will lead a team of supply chain digital experts and procurement activities to drive innovation, efficiency, and agility across the supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

· Develop and execute a data-driven strategy to enhance supply chain operations, improve forecasting accuracy, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.

· Collaborate with senior leadership to align data science and digital initiatives with business objectives and overall company strategy.

· Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment within the team.

2. Digital Transformation:

· Drive the digital transformation agenda within the supply chain organization, leveraging technologies to streamline processes and enhance visibility across the supply chain ecosystem.

· Identify opportunities to deploy digital solutions for supply chain optimization, including digital twins, predictive maintenance, and real-time monitoring of assets and inventory.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and procurement, to integrate digital solutions seamlessly into existing systems and processes.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including supply chain leaders, operations managers, and business executives, to understand their requirements and priorities and translate them into data-driven solutions.

· Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.

5. Procurement Contracts:

· Directly engage in contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers for products and services related to supply chain systems and analytical tools.

· Oversee and support negotiations to procure supplier contracts in support of automotive parts, tooling, and services for engineering and manufacturing functions.

6. Analytics:

· Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets from multiple sources to extract actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.

· Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and apply them to solve supply chain challenges.

· Lead the Development and implementation of digital systems to optimize supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics optimization, and supply chain network design.

You Bring:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

· Proven track record of leadership in digital transformation roles, with at least 15 years of experience in supply chain management, including procurement contracts negotiations.

· Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions that deliver tangible value and ROI.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in recruiting, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.

· Proven ability to drive change and lead cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of supply chain management principles, processes, and technologies, with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.

· Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and operate as a player-coach both driving and leading strategy and implementation execution with a hands-on approach.

· Willingness to travel occasionally, as business requires.
