What You'll Do:
As a Planned Preventative Maintenance Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation by providing input and direction into the development and execution of the maintenance strategy on those issues dealing with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). Own and manage Maintenance Management System (MMS) with respect to PPM.
What We're Looking For:
  • In cooperation with the Reliability Engineer and/or Maintenance Engineer/Technologist, gather appropriate PPM information to be performed on existing or new equipment through research of vendor information, project team members, discipline Subject Matter Experts (SME’s), modeling outputs, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) tools, results of historical data, etc.
  • Updates the MMS system for new equipment and changes to existing equipment resulting from projects based on the equipment data provided by the project team.
  • Ensures that scheduled services are entered into the MMS based upon the equipment maintenance strategy or reviews of new equipment that is being installed.
  • Assists during root cause investigations where PPM practices have been identified as a potential cause.
  • Identifies and sets up training necessary to support the individuals that may be performing the individual PPM tasks.
  • Tracks compliance of completion of PPM tasks and advises the Plant Supervision and Reliability Engineer of any issues impacting the effectiveness of the PPM program.
  • Evaluates the documented results of PPM activities to determine if the PPM activity is achieving the desired results.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize PPM intervals and works with the Reliability Engineer to evaluate the impact of changing PPM intervals upon probability and consequences (i.e. risk)
  • Works with Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) to ensure spare parts identified according to the equipment maintenance strategy are attached to Bill of Materials (BOM) and are adequately stocked.
  • Supports projects and ensures spare parts requirements are updated for both new and demolished equipment.
  • Understands the economic impact of decisions associated with the PPM program and spare parts and provides technical input in developing the Maintenance budget.
Skills That Make a Difference:
  • High School Diploma.
  • 5 years’ experience as a technical craftsperson
  • Ability to lead, advocate, and drive compliance and reliability.
  • Knowledge and experience working with SAP PM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong facilitation capabilities
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, & SharePoint).
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) considered a plus.
