LTN is seeking a talented and motivated Service Design & Delivery Engineer to join our Core Engineering team - fulfilling a crucial role in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation / delivery of complex media projects.

Client-facing projects include but are not limited to IP video transmission, live broadcast event / sports production, and cutting-edge media projects for the world's largest broadcast and streaming companies using our SaaS-based tools and technologies.

This role is integral to our success as we work closely between outside sales and internal development, technology, and product teams to ensure projects are on time and on budget.

Role & Responsibilities :

System Design and Architecture :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, review, and architect IP-based video transmission systems, including Product, Development, Operations, and Sales.
• Develop comprehensive solutions that integrate seamlessly with live event production and SaaS-based software offerings.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency in all system designs - identify and solution standard versus non-standard implementations.

Technical Documentation :

• Create detailed technical documentation for system designs, configurations, and integration plans.
• Provide clear and concise documentation to assist other teams in understanding and implementing solutions.

Project Management :

• Lead and contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables; lead effective meetings between internal technical teams.
• Communication is to be concise - project requirements and expectations are captured and understood.
• Work with Sales and System Architects on proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Assist with service pricing and work with Product to develop costs for customer projects.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

• Conduct thorough testing of IP video transmission systems to validate functionality and performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues, working closely with the development and operations teams to implement solutions.
• Provide feedback and solutions for new processes and procedures to align with performance, efficiency, and strategy.

Installation and Deployment :

Lead efforts for purchasing, installing and cabling equipment at data centers and customer sites.

Customer Support :

• Provide technical support to internal teams and directly with customers during project implementations and post-launch phases.
• Collaborate with internal customer support teams to address and resolve escalated issues.

Stay Abreast of Industry Trends :

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in media technology, IP video transmission, and related fields.
• Contribute insights to guide the continuous improvement of our products and services.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5 years of proven experience designing and implementing IP video transmission projects.
• Familiarity with sports event productions and SaaS-based managed software solutions.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a primarily remote workforce.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in media technology.
