The Hansen Elementary School is looking for a dynamic candidate for a Long-Term Substitute Educational Assistant who values equity, social-emotional learning and provides access to learning experiences for all students. The position length would be from 1/8/24-3/29/24. Candidates will have demonstrated success in building and sustaining strong relationships with students and families and value on-going collaboration with colleagues. 

Position Details

The position of Educational Assistant is to support students within the general education classrooms so that they can access instruction and learning. Some students may have IEP services or 504 accommodations, which may also be supported in the general education classroom by the Educational Assistant. Educational Assistants are assigned to the district and may be moved to support students in other buildings as needs arise.
