- Ensure Safety First, Safety Always and meet or exceed Quality expectations.
- Inspect equipment to be utilized prior to shift start.
- Operate equipment to manufacturer’s specifications, meeting time budgets for finished product.
- Set parameters to specified pressures and monitor gauges for pressure changes.
- Utilize quality testing methods (Hydro-static testing) to detect and locate defects according to station’s Standard Work Instructions.
- Mark product at source of defect for subsequent repair.
- Report any defects found during test to Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and equipment.
- Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, preferred.
- Experience operating pressure testing systems, preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, humidity, cold).
- Ability to safely lift/move up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members to accomplish departmental goals and to improve operations.
- Ability to record and report data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Detail-orientated/attentive to detail, for identification of defects.
- High School Diploma or GED
