This is shift work monitoring the LSUHSC-NO building mechanical and energy management system making rounds to visually inspect building systems and making rounds to visually inspect building systems. To operate, regulate, monitor, service and maintain ventilation, refrigeration, heating and related machinery and equipment, including pumps and other utility systems.OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITIONPossession of (or the ability to possess within three [3] months of hire) an Orleans Parish 2nd class Stationary Engineer's Certificate for steam boilers and at a minimum a 2nd class Stationary Engineer's Certificate for air conditioning.As of November 14, 1994, employees must possess the appropriate EPA refrigerant recycling and recovery certification for technicians (as required under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, 1990).Must be available to serve as sole operator for assigned shift work during evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays.
