LSG Sky Chefs is seeking a highly motivated and organized Transportation Supervisor to lead our team in ensuring the on-time and efficient delivery of in-flight meals and supplies to our airline customers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transportation operations, including scheduling drivers, creating routes, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Monitor and maintain communication with drivers throughout their shifts, addressing any delays or issues promptly.
• Manage driver performance, including conducting performance reviews and providing coaching and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including conducting pre-trip inspections and enforcing safe driving practices.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking times, quantities, and any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize transportation efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Uphold company standards for quality and customer service.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a transportation supervisor role or similar logistics management position.
• Proven ability to effectively schedule and dispatch drivers.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures for commercial vehicles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) a plus.
• Experience within the airline catering industry is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: $53,212.28 - $64,083.61 per year
