We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Ramp Safety Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of ramp operations in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Oversight: Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment on the ramp. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and areas for improvement.
• Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs for ramp personnel on safety protocols, equipment operation, and emergency procedures. Ensure that all employees receive proper training and certification as required.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate ramp incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate records of incidents and report findings to management and regulatory agencies as necessary.
• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to ramp operations and safety. Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary updates to procedures.
• Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response activities on the ramp, including medical emergencies, aircraft incidents, and hazardous material spills. Work closely with emergency services and airport authorities to ensure a timely and effective response.
• Safety Communication: Facilitate safety communication and awareness campaigns among ramp personnel. Promote a culture of safety through regular meetings, newsletters, and other communication channels.
• Equipment Inspection: Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of ramp equipment such as ground support vehicles, loading equipment, and safety gear. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in aviation ground operations and safety management required.
• Knowledge of aviation safety regulations, including FAA and IATA standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
