LS Carlson Law, PC is Hiring a Litigation File Clerk Near Aliso Viejo, CA

LS Carlson Law is a law firm serving clients nationwide from our southern California headquarters to our satellite office in Florida and we are looking for an exceptional Litigation File Clerk to add to our growing California team asap!

This role will assist in processing mail and maintaining client’s case files and documents. The ideal candidate will need to have strong organization skills and be an excellent multitasker. Additionally, the candidate will be a quick learner with an interest in learning the intricacies of the legal process.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Organizes digital and physical files utilizing the firm’s filing protocols.
  • Distributes digital and physical files throughout the firm as needed.
  • Makes copies of files and distributes as needed.
  • Scans physical documents and verifies that scanned documents are clear and legible prior to filing.
  • Processes requests for files and data.
  • Monitors stock of filing materials and office supplies and advises when new purchases are warranted.
  • Destroys or returns documents when required in accordance with firm protocols.
  • Consistently reviews filing protocols for the purpose of optimizing all filing systems and provides suggestions to management when appropriate.
  • Regularly reviews previously filed documents to ensure accuracy and corrects where needed.
  • Additional administrative duties as needed, such as answering phone calls, etc.
