The Group Leader in this role primary duties are the performance of work requiring advance knowledge acquired during a four-year degree course of instruction; and requires the incumbent to consistently exercise discretion and judgement in applying advanced knowledge. Under regular supervision of the Program Manager of Clinical Advancement, counsels and aids individuals requiring assistance coping with substance use disorders.

Position Logistics

•  PRN up to 20 hours per week

Education, Experience & Licensure Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services field is required. Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Experience performing the essential duties of the position
• Licensure and/or certification are highly preferred

Position Overview

Clinical: 

• Monitors patient’s progress and identify ongoing needs. 
• Work in collaboration with clinical counselors/case managers. 
• Collects urine drug screens as appropriate.

Administrative: 

• Maintains all clinical records in accordance with agency, DAODAS, DHEC, and CARF requirements.
• Completes documentation same day of service.
• Updates Patient Log summarizing progress/needs same day of service.
