Lozier Oil Company is Hiring a Site Manager Near Franklin, IN

This position is in support of a large client for Lozier Oil Company. The primary function of the role is to support remanufacturing of auto machinery including engines and engine parts. The position duties include but are not limited to: creating, maintaining and sending of reports for the job processes within the program, presentations to plant management on projects and financial results, job task and staffing coordination, working with suppliers, assurance of proper safety training for Chemical Management staff, and communication with operations personnel. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain an accurate chemical inventory for tracking and analyzing chemical usage and spend. (Microsoft Office based)
  • Report to and work with EH&S to remain compliant with all environmental aspects of the facility
  • Presentations to Cat Reman top management on a variety of subjects including:
  • Safety
  • Cost savings potential
  • Projects
  • Order chemicals and media as necessary
  • Manage team of four Lozier technicians including
  • Management of chemical systems on floor (200 total).
  • Work with all production departments to design and streamline new or existing processes
  • Work with chemical vendors to evaluate new products for process improvement, cost savings, or efficiency
  • Participate in audits related to plant quality
  • Daily meetings with Lozier technicians to go over the days’ priorities
  • Constant reaction to issues that may arise in the plant. Candidates will make “on-the-spot” decisions
  • Complete project work, none of which is 'cookie-cutter' meaning each day/project is unique to that product/chemical or the combination of the two.

Preferred Credentials:

  • BA/BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other related science
  • 3 years in a management role
  • 3 years industrial experience
  • 3 years chemical handling experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High level self-management and organizational skills
