LowMovers and Logistics is Hiring a Freight Dispatcher (DAT Loadboard/ Truck Stop) Near Simpsonville, SC
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must know how to navigate load board
- Must Have 1 year Plus Experience with DAT/Truckers Edge or Truck Stop
- Must Have Experience with Semi's , Hotshot or Box Trucks
- Must Have Experience dealing with compliance logs/ ELD
- Negotiate rates with customers, entering and recording all terms and conditions of shipment agreements
- Qualifies new customers/shipments, matching requirements with customers’ needs and profile
- Responds to customers’ requests for service and resolves issues
- Effectively communicates with the logistics operations team & other LowMovers operating divisions
- Manages a book of business in excess of a million dollars annually
- Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; respond well to questions; write clearly and informatively; able to read and interpret written information
- Balance team and individual responsibilities; give and welcome feedback; contribute to building a positive team spirit
- Set and achieve challenging goals; measure self against standard of excellence
- Infrequent travel may be required
- Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours

- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $35.00 per hour
