The primary purpose of Sourcing Process & Analytics Lead role is to drive execution of projects in one or more of process/systems, data and market intel verticals. The individual is expected to work in conjunction with enterprise strategic sourcing category leaders & teams, business teams, legal and finance in executing projects. This position is required to add value to enterprise strategic sourcing (ESS) by owning and delivering specific streams within process, data and market intel. The individual is responsible for overseeing end to end project execution, ensure quality of deliverables and meet timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Owns specific dashboards – category, supplier, regional, etc. Ensure dashboards are refreshed on time and delivered to respective stakeholders
Connects with key stakeholders to improve existing dashboards, add/edit metrics, and improve visualization of dashboards
Analyzes data and rates associated with historical/current spend for baseline development. Coordinates with the business and finance when discrepancies are identified
Own and support the creation of new dashboards
Supports data analysis across all categories – both reactive and proactive
Supports RFP analytics across categories including bid data analysis, scenario building, and recommendations on awards
Supports TCO modeling in sourcing projects using existing tools and without tools
Supports execution of key transformative projects identified and deliver on time
Responsible for key metrics reporting
Supports Advanced Analytics modeling and build using SQL, R, Python, and others as applicable
Increases accuracy of data
Supports with vendor financials, information security group (ISG) analysis, and environmental social and governance (ESG) data analysis
Supports both proactive and reactive market intel reports across categories within ESS
Delivers category-specific market and supplier intel through secondary research as required on an ongoing basis / project-based, and requirement-based
Ensures quality of deliverables and strict turnaround times for supplier intel and category intel
Supports other research including price forecast, key indicators in the market, risk assessment, market conditions for entry, benchmarking, competitive assessment, and cost breakdown analysis (TCO)
Refreshes key market metrics in regular intervals (monthly/quarterly/daily) as required for executives and category directors
Provide inputs and collaborate with the analytics team to develop metrics based on market inputs and help forecast/predict risk
Updates enterprise strategic sourcing (ESS) team with key movements in the market
Owns and executes sub-stream of process improvement projects
Owns and delivers projects from start to completion
Follows up with stakeholders and communicate key changes
Supports implementation of technology roadmap
Supports mapping of current state and future state of processes involving enterprise strategic sourcing (ESS)
Helps reduce turnaround time of processes within S2C
Supports catalog implementation as required
Supports assessment of existing procurement systems to identify fit, and gaps and come up with a technology roadmap that is in line with business requirements and ensures simplicity
Creates SOPs as required for processes delivered and supported
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Science, or related field and 3-5 Years Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
3 years of business experience
Data Analysis, Excel, and PPT knowledge
Experience in PowerBI
Prior experience with coding in SQL, R, Python for advanced analytics
Better than intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel & Word), Macro
Financial analytical modeling, collation, and representation skills
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Exposure to indirect categories and industry research
Exposure to the source to contract process and technology
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to procurement tools and ERP - Coupa, Oracle, Microsoft
Sourcing experience
Cost optimization tool experience
