Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their deli orders - Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures - Assist with stocking and replenishing deli products as needed - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department Qualifications: - Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills - Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register - Proficiency in using POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for order processing - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
