At a Glance: The safety and security of the LCC Campus Community is paramount to maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment for all. Our Security Guards are an invaluable part of campus as they patrol the grounds 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Join the Security Team as a part-time Security Guard and help support campus safety!
The Security Guard will be responsible for patrolling, inspecting buildings and grounds and enforcing rules of behavior. The position will serve as a substitute (on-call) Security Guard without a specified number of hours. The hours will vary based on need and availability, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The typical hours of campus operations are between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. This position is categorized as a Security Guard 1, under State of Washington Class Specification. This position is a temporary part-time position not to exceed 1050 hours in a consecutive 12-month period. In person work is required.
