Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Assistant to join our team. The Mechanic Assistant will work closely with our experienced mechanics to assist in the assembly and maintenance of equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
We work Monday through Friday, 0800-1700. Saturdays are required, 0800-1200.
Responsibilities:
-Assemble new equipment and complete pre-sale checklists.
-Help loading and unloading equipment.
- Clean and organize work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions
- Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated on industry advancements
Note: This position does not require any specific educational background or prior experience. However, candidates with relevant technical training or previous experience as a mechanic assistant will be given preference.
