Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technician to join our team. The position requires the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. $1000.00 Sign on Bonus after 90 days of continuous employment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions on heavy equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
- Read and understand equipment manuals to stay up-to-date with equipment information.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems in a timely manner.
- Complete all documentation and paperwork necessary for equipment repair, maintenance, and inspections.
- Utilize computer programs to diagnose heavy equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or repair.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Relevant technical certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and parts.
