Must be available for weekend and evening hours as needed. HSD or GED Required. A cashier is responsible for maintaining a superior level of customer service to help achieve the stores sales and profitability objectives. Cashiers accurately and efficiently process sales and service the stores customers in such a way as to encourage return customer visits.

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting every customer.
• Comply with all legal aspects of the store FDA mandated compliance policy.
• Accurately handle all cash and credit transactions to eliminate overages and shortages.
• Maintain correct cigarette counts.
• Stocking and cleaning duties to maintain and enhance the store's appearance inside and outside.
• Evaluate customer purchases to suggest other products they may be interested in to increase the store's profitability.
• Remain current on all new products and promotions. Comply with all operational procedures for maintaining the store's safety and security practices.
• Resolve customer problems in a professional manor, showing patience and respect at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• This position requires excellent oral communication skills and requires a high level of inter-personal relationship skills with the public and personnel at all levels within the organization.
• Must be able to read, write, count, accurately complete computer documentation and run a point of sale register. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders, bend and lift, move up to 50lbs of merchandise occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work a variety of hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
