Schedule: VARIED HOURS WEEKLY - AVERAGING 40 HOURS PER TWO WEEKS. INCLUDES SOME WEEKENDS/DAYS/EVENINGS.

This family is looking forward to finding a nanny who can help them with some full days and some partial days. Depending on their time needs, non-school days could include getting kids up and dressed in the morning, prepping breakfast, and spending the day together. If evening hours are needed, it may include prepping and serving dinner and getting kids in baths when needed and in bed. Household duties would be basic tidying up (kids' messes) or any other appropriate, kid-related, household tasks. For school days, the parents would expect the nanny to get kids up and dressed (if not already) and feed them breakfast before driving them to school. On evenings in which they need help, they would expect a nanny to pick kids up from school, bring them home, prep and serve dinner, play as able, and get kids ready for bed. The family tries to spend time outside, go on walks/bike rides, play with toys, read books, and minimize screen time as much as possible. Ideally, it would be great to have someone with some experience, in particular with bedtime routines and managing more than one kid single-handedly during that process. The family has a dog in the home that does not like new people so they usually put him away from others (basement bedroom or doggy daycare), but would certainly want someone who is okay with a dog in the house and not allergic to it. The family would truly be looking for someone flexible. Mom works 1-2 weekends a month and having weekend availability would be important in addition to varying times on weekdays. Because of needing flexibility, they would have fixed payments for average weekly or monthly hours, even if the hours are not worked. At this point, they can get by without help on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but it would be nice if an interested nanny could be available any day. The Covid vaccination is not required to apply. A car may be available during working hours, mileage reimbursement for use of own car, a fair compensation package for flexibility, and paid vacation/holidays are offered.
