Schedule: 45-50 hours per week, Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays

Loveland Excavating and Paving is growing, and we are looking for hard workers to join our team! We have immediate openings for Sealcoat Laborers.

Job Summary:

General laborer duties associated with Construction, Repair, and Maintenance of Asphalt parking areas. Responsible for prep work of crack fill and debris removal then application of product with spray wand or squeegee finish. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Paving and Sealcoat operations as directed by the Superintendent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Dependable with reliable transportation.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• CDL A license is a plus, but not required.

Safety

• Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program.
• Attend daily safety meetings and inspections.
• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the Asphalt/Sealcoat industry

Working Conditions

• Overtime as required.
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. regularly.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required.
• Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.
• Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.

• Participate as a vital team member and contribute toward the success of the organization, which may involve the provision of other technical and administrative support, as required.
• Promote a team approach and maintain a dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas.
• Collaborate with any project teams on other special initiatives, as required.
