LoveBird Healthcare is seeking to hire a talented individual who is driven by the desire to serve others, to fill the position of a Home Health Aide

Place of Employment:

Client’s home, work outside of the client’s home and other work sites as required LoveBird HomeCare management.

Accountable to LoveBird Home Care’s Director, Administrator, Manager.

A Day in the Life as a Home Health Aide 

Responsibilities:

  • Help patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily tasks. ∙ Records patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions.

  • Perform basic health care services for patients including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication.

  • Enables patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families.

  • Help with general light housekeeping.

  • Make transportation arrangements as needed.

  • Work with a nurse, personal care aide, a CNA, nurse aide, nursing assistant, and other caregivers and in-home care professionals.

  • Observe and report on patient condition.

  • Keep up with in-service training. 

What Are We Looking For? 

The Home Health Aide takes care of client who may be afflicted with an illness and/or disability; clientsmayalso be the elderly who may need care – but in all these cases the clients are in their homes.

Experience:

  • Reliable transportation.

  • Must be able to pass the criminal background check.

  • Must be able to provide references.

  • Ability to work with little supervision.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Have good personal hygiene.

  • Able to do lighthouse keeping.

  • Emotional Control. 

Education: High school diploma 

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent people, time management, confidentiality and Courtesy skills are a key asset for this position.
