Position Title: Store Maintenance Reports

JOB DESCRIPTION OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: Store Maintenance team members help run our business by keeping the facilities and equipment in good working order.

JOB SUMMARY: Store Maintenance team members will perform various daily maintenance tasks around the location such as maintain parking and diesel lots, inspecting exterior lighting, checking for vandalism protection/skimmers on all dispensers, and other tasks as assigned. This position will also perform tasks required to help ensure the facility’s compliance with the Environmental Protection Association (EPA) regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers as needed • Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free • Pressure wash diesel and gas bays, store parking lot & sidewalks • Clean diesel drains and/or trench • Wash inside and outside windows • Inspect exterior lighting • Check hoses, filters, and flow rates • Maintain landscaping as needed • Paint curbs, islands, and inspect parking stripes if needed • Perform propane safety checklist and propane valve spray for leak test • Perform restroom & shower maintenance such as but not limited to; detail cleaning toilets, showers, urinals, floors, mirrors and doors, and clear floors and counters of any debris, service trash cans • Remove and re-line trash cans on property • Repair minor floor damage in the location • Perform basic equipment repairs and preventative maintenance to prevent equipment damage • Keep maintenance area clean, organized, and secure • Maintain and update maintenance records and Safety Data Sheets • Monitor functionality of the Veeder Root and oil separator/monitoring wells • Maintain personal grooming standards • Other tasks as assigned **This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Managers may ask employees to perform duties beyond this job description.** EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS: • Education: • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred • Experience: • 6 months of facilities maintenance experience preferred SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Skills: • Hard Skills: Ability to learn and perform basic housekeeping tasks, repair and maintenance procedures, knowledge of electrical breakers, scissor lift operation, and safety glasses/vest usage. Ability to read and understand direction manuals or quick reference guides. • Soft Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic. • Typical Physical Demands: • Regularly required to talk and hear at a normal range • Very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. • Frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing the duties, the employee is frequently exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, and human waste. Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
