Love Certified Childcare is Hiring a Magical Nanny needed for a Magical family Near Denver, CO
A loving, caring, friendly child with overall happy personality needs a magical nanny to give her a continued magical childhood.
She walks, runs, climbs, jumps, talks, loves reading, playgrounds, Montessori style toys/education, helping with household activities (loading washer/dryer, wiping up spills, unloading dishwasher), going for bike rides in her trailer. Typical weekly outings/activities include playtime at the neighborhood park, twice per week visits to neighborhood library for story time, Tuesday swim lessons, and visits to Denver Zoo, Denver Nature and Science Museum, indoor gyms for open tumbling sessions, occasional music and art classes at rec centers. She is a good little eater and still takes afternoon nap (usually 1 1/2-2 hours).
Important nanny attributes:
Shows love and compassion to Lexi
Self-motivated and takes initiative
Caring, calm, not easily frazzled
Able to address meltdowns and conflict in a controlled manner which includes teaching moments such as “I hear you” and “that must be hard” and other styles
Able to help with potty training
able to travel with family? - we usually take nanny on our annual ski trip in Jan/Feb (but not a requirement)
Flexible
Drive with safe, well maintained car
Ideally Planning to stay at least a year
Punctual and able to adhere to time schedule
Educates Lexi - ABCs, counting, reading, games and puzzles,emotional and educational development
Strong and spry enough to handle a strong/large 2 year old up and down the stairs without issue or concern
Experience with this age group
Support healthy eating, no screen time (or very limited)
Loves the outdoors and physical activity
Direct interactive play with Lexi (hide and seek, builds forts, water play outdoors)
Art, music, dance activities
Attentive to Lexi’s safety at ALL times
CPR certified
Must tolerate two loving and dog-like cats
Other required tasks:
Cook/prepare food and snacks to have on hand for Lexi
Creative ideas for play, teaching, cooking, activities, etc
Willing to bathe Lexi (e.g after swimming or dirty activities)
Lexi’s laundry, including linens and towels
Lexi’s room cleaning
Maintaining tidiness with toys, books, etc.
Washing dishes, emptying dishwasher
Optional tasks (required if she wants to work during preschool hours):
Vacuuming
Family laundry
Other light cleaning
Grocery shopping
Dry-cleaning and other errands
Meal prep for family (husband frequently uses nanny as a sous chef while he prepares delicious meals - which we share with nanny!)
Compensation: $23-$26/hour (willing to consider higher starting salary depending on experience and willingness to do “optional tasks”). PTO x 2 weeks.
