Computer Science Adjunct Faculty Pool
Description of Position
The Department of Computer Science at Louisiana Christian University is actively recruiting adjunct faculty to teach in our undergraduate programs of BSc in Computer Science, BA in Computer Science – Web Systems, and BSc in Cybersecurity. Applicants will need to demonstrate teaching competencies in specific areas of Computer Science such as programming languages, networking, security, databases, operating systems, computer architecture, web design, software engineering, or analysis of algorithms. Louisiana Christian University is a private, Baptist, coeducational university of liberal arts and sciences with selected professional programs, located in Pineville, Louisiana. LCU was founded in 1906 and is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Louisiana Baptist Convention. It has an enrollment of about 1,200 students and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Qualifications:
The position requires a Master’s or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. An earned PhD would be ideal but is not required. Outstanding teaching skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to high quality student success are expected.
