Entry Level Technician

Business is good and we need to add two experienced light maintenance technicians to our team. Our Service Department is currently exceeeding our capacity and theis is a great opportunity for someone to learn and grow their career with a company that wiull help you continue your training and development to become a Certified Level Three Technician. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am till 5pm, closed Saturdays. Compensation is $16.00 per hour plus bonus. Light maintenance experience is required (oil changes, tire rotations at minimum).

This is a union position that is governed by District No 9, International association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers A.F.L.-C.I.O.

Responisbilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qaulifications:

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Level Three Certified
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Must have clean and valid driver's license
