Job Summary:
Lou Bachrodt Automall is seeking a Part Time Courtesy Shuttle Driver to join our team in Rockford, IL.
This individual will be responsible for providing shuttle services to our dealership customers, ensuring their safety and comfort. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time role in the auto industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time, hourly position with a compensation of $14 per hour.
Payment will be made weekly.
As a part-time employee, this role does not include benefits.
Responsibilities:
Drive shuttle vehicle safely and responsibly, following all traffic laws and dealership policies
Pick up and drop off customers in a timely and professional manner
Assist with picking up vehicles from customer and dropping off vehicles to customer.
Assist customers with loading and unloading of their belongings
Keep shuttle vehicle clean and well-maintained
Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to management
Follow designated shuttle routes and schedules
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers
Adhere to all dealership and safety procedures
Assist with other duties as assigned by management Requirements:
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Previous experience as a shuttle driver or in the transportation industry preferred \Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to operate assigned shuttle vehicle safely and responsibly
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with loading and unloading of customer belongings
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if needed
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Must be able to work independently as well as a team player
