Description:

Lotuz, Inc is seeking a dynamic Software/Computer Analyst responsible for developing and supporting software applications and systems. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Computer or Engineering or related field and a minimum of three years’ experience in IT or related field.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide software engineering expertise in identifying and designing improvements to existing systems and applications

• Provide end user support and troubleshooting issues related to software components. Provide input to project requirements, system and process enhancements and documentation.

• Develop and support new/existing Oracle Hyperion EPM application leveraging Essbase, Planning, and Financial Management.

• Manage various software platform, own the installation, configuration, and maintenance.

• Develop and support data integrations (ETL) leveraging ODI (Oracle Data Integrator), FDM (Financial Data Management), Informatica.

• Develop reports as per the Business unit/Departmental requirements.

• Perform technical incident resolution to help resolve issues related to Data, integrations, application, and processes.

• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, willingness to work outside of normal work hours and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills and abilities:

• 3-5 years of software/IT experience

• Knowledge of application software development life cycle concepts, lean and agile methodologies and practices

• Strong in of data warehousing concepts, software process controls, data flows, re-engineering

• Strong mathematical and statistical analysis

• Experience in developing programs or APIs leveraging C, Perl, HTML and or other scripting languages

• Experience in working with both Windows and UNIX/Linux based systems

• Experience in developing software applications leveraging Hyperion EPM including Essbase, Planning, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)/Informatica

• Experience in software installation, configuration, tuning, optimization, patching, and upgrading

• Experience in developing reports using Financial Reporting, Integrations, and data flow processes

• Knowledge of database systems like Oracle, Teradata, SQL server

• Demonstrated experience in support/development role by collaborating with technical leads, other developers, Business partners

• Strong Communication, Analytical, Organizational and People skills are required. Proficient in MS office suite

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s or equivalent work experience is highly desired) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field.

Travel:

Position is based in Houston, Texas, but the employee must be willing to travel up to 80% and/or willing to move locations based on the company's need.
