Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Duties:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their inquiries
- Scan and process customer purchases using a cash register or POS system
- Accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- Provide accurate change to customers and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags, receipt paper, and other supplies
- Assist with product returns or exchanges, following company policies and procedures
- Promote special offers or discounts to customers at the point of sale
- Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and availability
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive shopping experience for customers
- Fluent in English; multilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus
- Previous experience in wireless sales or technical sales is preferred but not required
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to learn about new products and participate in product demos
